When I'm not in the kitchen or the studio, you can find me spending time with my husband and 3 grown children (wherever they may be), in the garden, or hiking in the Scottish Highlands.

I've been a reader of cookbooks, a baker, a cook, and a menu planner for as long as I can remember. I've got recipe cards written with my 6 year old hands and a vintage children's cook book that was given to me by my big brother who eventually became my mentor in the kitchen. Who knew that book that I cherish, written in a tutorial style, would eventually lead me to being a professional photographer and recipe developer!

In past lives, I've been a long-time public school volunteer, an elected school board member, a campaign manager and local political campaign consultant, and an administrator for an accounting firm, so I'm no stranger to detail, but I'm so ready to unleash my creativity and do what I really love!
